 ime limit ... 3 minutes.\n\nThe Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research 
 communication competition that challenges students to communicate the sign
 ificance of their projects without the use of props or industry jargon\, i
 n just three minutes. Originally established by the University of Queensla
 nd in 2008\, the competition challenges research students to communicate t
 he significance of their projects in just three minutes\, with the aid of 
 a single\, static slide.\n\n3MT develops academic\, presentation\, and res
 earch communication skills and supports the development of research studen
 ts' capacity to quickly explain their research in a language appropriate t
 o a non-specialist audience. \n\nCU Anschutz doctoral students will compet
 e at at the 2025 event hosted by the Graduate School. Doors will open at 2
  p.m. with programming set to begin at 2:30 p.m. Heavy appetizers and beve
 rages will be provided. Attendees will also be able to vote for the People
 's Choice Award.
