Drug prices in the United States have been a main topic of conversation for several years and recently interest has renewed due to the passing of the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (IRA 2022). Three experts in drug pricing will be going over how drugs are valued, who is involved in pricing drugs and what the IRA 2022 means for the future.
Dr. Joseph Vande Griend (Director of Population Health Pharmacy) will open with a brief introduction to how medications are valued followed by Dr. Michael Campbell (an industry pharmacist) discussing drug pricing from an industry perspective and finishing off with Dr. Brittany Schock providing a drug pricing perspective from Colorado Medicaid.
