This is an in-person event, introducing the latest in industry best practice for preventing targeted violence. This is a lunch and learn session open to all! 

On campus and work-place targeted violence incidents are rare, but it is important to be informed about escalating behavioral indicators and early intervention tactics to prevent an active harmer situation.

Targeted violence is planned and involves behaviors that are observable. The training will illustrate the pathways to violence, recognizing common escalating behaviors, and early intervention tools & resources to disrupt and prevent active harmer incidents from occurring. The training will conclude with guidance on how to immediately take action, should an active harmer incident occur.
