Our July AI Discovery Lab series continues with an exciting new workshop: So Many AI Training Courses, So Little Time: How to Navigate the Noise and Find the Right AI Course for You?, hosted by Dr. Laura Saba. This workshop will help participants navigate the overwhelming landscape of AI training opportunities by highlighting accessible, high-quality courses available through CU-sponsored platforms such as Coursera and LinkedIn Learning. The session will introduce participants to top-rated courses tailored for faculty, staff, and students, with an emphasis on selecting options that match different levels of AI familiarity and professional goals. Designed to be approachable and practical, this session aims to reduce the intimidation factor around AI and empower participants to confidently begin or advance their AI learning journey.

Objectives:

• Identify at least five recommended AI training courses available through CU/Coursera and LinkedIn Learning.
• Compare AI courses based on factors such as audience level, content focus, time commitment, and learning outcomes.
• Select an AI course that best aligns with their current skills, professional roles, and interests.
• Explain how to access and enroll in AI courses via CU’s LinkedIn Learning and Coursera portals.
• Develop a personal strategy for continuing AI education based on curated course recommendations.
