About this Event
A new Systems for Action (S4A) study examines a “Functional Zero” approach to reducing homelessness among Black fathers in Atlanta.
The study builds from an existing multi-sector coalition of leaders from medical, social and public health sectors who have formed Fathers Matter ATL, in which one of its strategies is addressing the unmet health and social needs of homeless fathers, including housing options for them and their dependent children.
S4A researchers at Morehouse School of Medicine are collaborating with Redemption and Advancement Alliance, Morehouse Healthcare, Good Samaritan Health Center, Fulton County Board of Health, and the Atlanta Housing Authority.
Learn more on Wednesday, May 31 at 10am.
Systems for Action (S4A) is a signature research program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation that is housed in the Department of Health Systems, Management and Policy. S4A research builds a Culture of Health by rigorously testing new ways of connecting the nation’s fragmented medical, social, and public health systems.
