You are invited to meet Wells Messersmith, MD, a finalist in the search for the next Director of the Cancer Center.
Messersmith is the inaugural Coe Atherton Chair in Pancreatic Cancer Research and serves as the Division Head of Medical Oncology, Associate Director (Cancer Center) for Clinical Services, and CMO (UCHealth) of Oncology Services. Messersmith is focused on clinical and translational cancer research in gastrointestinal (GI) cancers. This comprehensive program includes multi-disciplinary GI cancer clinics and clinical trials, including first-in-human studies with novel agents targeting cancer cell signaling and immune regulatory pathways.
