You are invited to meet Zihai Li, MD, PhD, a finalist in the search for the next Director of the Cancer Center. 

Zihai Li, MD, PhD, is Professor, Founding Director of the Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology, and Deputy Director for Translational Research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – The James, where he holds the Klotz Memorial Chair in Cancer Research.

An internationally recognized physician-scientist, Li has made pioneering contributions to cancer immunology, proteostasis, and immune regulation that have advanced the understanding of T cell biology and cancer immunotherapy. He is an elected member of the American Society of Clinical Investigation and the Association of American Physicians, a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and has authored more than 250 scientific publications while maintaining continuous NIH funding for over two decades.
