Please join the DFM Community Engagement Program Monthly Meeting (DFM-CEP-MM) Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 12-1pm for a special presentation and discussion with leaders from DAWN Health. DAWN Health (Dedicated to Aurora’s Wellness and Needs) is an interprofessional, student-run free clinic committed to providing patient-centered care to Aurora's underserved populations.

Join us for an engaging session to learn how this collaborative initiative brings together students from various health disciplines—including medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and more—to deliver comprehensive care that supports uninsured patients on their health journey while simultaneously educating our future healthcare leaders to champion health equity that impacts community health. This is great way to learn about DAWN's work, and to see what opportunities exist for collaboration, partnership, and volunteering.

Our guest presenters/speakers (see bios below):

  • Brian Wolfe, MD (he/him/his) DAWN Health, Medical Director
  • Ryan Mockabee, BS (he/him/his) DAWN Health, Executive Director

The DFM-CEP-MM features presenters from community organizations, partners, and colleagues in DFM and across the Campus who work in areas of community engagement, health equity, and the social, structural and political determinates of health. Everyone is welcome.
