Dr. Christine K. Cassel is a nationally recognized leader in geriatric medicine, medical ethics, and health policy. She has held prominent roles including President and CEO of the National Quality Forum and the American Board of Internal Medicine, and was appointed by President Obama to the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. A pioneer in academic medicine, Dr. Cassel continues to advance work in aging, biomedical ethics, and healthcare quality through collaborative projects with the University of California.
