Eat 'N Teach with the Office of Community Outreach and Engagement at the University of Colorado Cancer Center

Research outcomes are traditionally disseminated to scientific audiences through peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and academic networks. Broader dissemination of scientific information is increasingly critical for fostering public understanding, influencing policy, and driving real-world applications and implementation. This presentation will:

1. Describe how to effectively communicate academic and scientific findings to the unique needs of various nonacademic audiences, including community groups, insurance payers, and policymakers.

2. Review multiple methods of dissemination and provide examples of translating science to various audiences.

3. Provide resources for dissemination, especially for Cancer Center scientists
