Dr. Keenan currently works on developing therapeutic agents for oncology at Takeda Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge, MA. Her interests lay in the epidemiology of disease drivers to improve patients’ lives. The bulk of her work has been in type 1 diabetes with a focus on the epidemiology of molecular pathways of protection/ risk of complications from hyperglycemia. She obtained her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburg and currently lives outside of Boston with her husband, three kids, and three cats.
