  provided for those unable to attend. \n\nABOUT THE PRESENTER\nWendy M Koh
 rt\, PhD\, is a Distinguished Professor of Medicine in the Division of Ger
 iatric Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine.
  She is the inaugural Nancy Anschutz Chair in Women’s Health Research an
 d Associate Director of the Ludeman Family Center for Women’s Health Res
 earch. Dr. Kohrt has received continuous funding from the NIH as a princip
 al investigator since 1991 and has more than 300 research publications. Si
 nce 2013\, she and colleagues have held a Specialized Center of Research E
 xcellence (SCORE) on Sex Differences award\, focused on Bioenergetic and C
 ardiometabolic Consequences of the Loss of Gonadal Function. Since 2016\, 
 she has served as Chair of the National Steering Committee for the Molecul
 ar Transducers of Physical Activity Consortium\, an NIH Common Fund initia
 tive. Throughout her career\, Dr. Kohrt’s research has focused on two ar
 eas: metabolic actions of estrogens and novel factors that influence muscu
 loskeletal adaptations to exercise.\n\nABOUT THE AWARD\nThe Chancellor’s
  Distinguished Research Lectureship Award is presented annually to two CU 
 Anschutz faculty members in recognition of their extraordinary research ac
 complishments. The award recipients each present a lecture to the CU Ansch
 utz campus community to showcase their impactful and innovative research.
