The Health Outcomes & Member Engagement (HOME) Committee is excited to welcome Lee Shainis (he/him), president of the Simplify Language program, as part of the Colorado Child Health Research Institute speaker series! This session is for any child health clinical research team member interested in building skills that improve the clarity, structure and length of written and spoken communication from a health equity-focused lens.

• Expand access and reduce writing by 20%–80% without impacting precision or tone.

• Better organize writing to make it easier for audiences scan for essential information.

• Gain skills to adapt the level of complexity for different audiences.

• Learn to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make communication more efficient and accessible.

• Gain tools to communicate clearly and concisely in difficult conversations.
