"Beyond Mortality: Neurodevelopmental Outcomes in Congenital Heart Disease"

We are thrilled to welcome Jane Newburger, MD, MPH, Commonwealth Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School to deliver Heart Institute Grand Rounds on Tuesday, May 5 at 4 p.m. in Mt. Columbia (2nd floor conference center) and via Zoom. 

Dr. Newburger is also the Associate Cardiologist-in-Chief for Academic Affairs at Boston Children’s Hospital where she has an active practice comprised of patients with congenital and acquired heart disease. She has been honored by “Best Doctors in America", “Boston SuperDoctors", "Boston Magazine Best Doctor", and US News and World Report “Top Doctors,” with star designation as in top 1%.  Her research has focused on neurodevelopmental outcomes in children with congenital heart disease after heart surgery, and also on the evaluation and therapy of Kawasaki disease.
