The Deparment of Pharmaceutical Sciences is excited to have Dr. Krishnan Sampath share his work. Here is a brief bio on Dr.Sampath.

Krishnan Sampath is currently a CTO at Invetx by Dechra overseeing CMC development and manufacturing of biologics pipeline programs.  He is also principal consultant/owner of SSK BioSolutions providing scientific advisory services to biotech companies.  Prior to Dechra, Krishnan worked at Amgen, Hospira/Pfizer and MacroGenics.   He has 25+ years of biotechnology industry experience overseeing formulation, analytical sciences, drug substance and drug product development, manufacturing, quality, regulatory and supply chain .  He supported 6 BLA product approvals and ~35 INDs/IMPDs approvals working on 40+ pipeline molecules. He has authored 25+ journal publications and book chapters, 8 patents, served as a session chair for several conference sessions and is currently serving on the editorial advisory board for JPharmSci.  He obtained his Ph.D from the University of Colorado in Pharmaceutical Sciences,  BS in Pharmacy from Madras Medical College and certifications in business entrepreneurship, regulatory affairs and leadership & management.
