Dr. Medina is an Assistant Professor of medicine in the Division of Medical Oncology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
Her primary clinical interest is the treatment of cutaneous malignancies. Her clinical interests include malignant melanoma, particularly mucosal melanoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, and advanced keratinocyte carcinomas such as cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma.
Her research interests focus on the use of novel agents for the treatment of metastatic melanoma and other cutaneous malignancies.
She is a member of several professional societies including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Society for Melanoma Research, and the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer. She currently serves on the NCCN committee for Non-melanoma skin cancers and guidelines for the management of immune therapy-related toxicities.
