The University of Colorado School of Medicine Section of Neuropalliative Care is delighted to announce the continuation of our quarterly speaker series, The Art and Science of Dementia Care.

Dr. Hillary Lum, MD, PhD from the University of Colorado Anschutz will give a talk entitled Care Partners Matter: Building Better Dementia Care Through Caregiver Voices and the GUIDE Program. The talk takes place on Wednesday, September 2 at 10 am MDT (noon EDT, 9 am PDT). We hope you can join us!

Caregivers are the unseen foundation of dementia care and support. This talk will feature new research findings, including from the Alzheimer's Association-funded Caregiver VOICE study and the CU Medicine GUIDE Program. Topics will include addressing caregiver needs, increasing caregiver efficacy, and creating more person- and family-centered dementia care. 

This series is possible through a generous donation from Dignify Dementia. This collaborative initiative aims to provide practical knowledge, emotional support, and expert guidance for those navigating the challenges of caring for individuals living with dementia. All sessions will be held virtually.
