Learning Objectives:

• Describe the history, basic pathophysiology, and treatment of cystic fibrosis (CF)
• Identify the importance of Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Conductance Regulator (CFTR) genetics for recently approved therapies and future directions of CF therapeutic development
• Recognize the existence of health inequities in the diagnosis and treatment of people with CF who identify as individuals form marginalized communities
