This webinar highlights a Systems for Action study that tested how Vermont’s global all-payer payment model, paired with multi-sector community health teams, affects health and social outcomes across the state. As part of the Vermont Blueprint for Health, one of the nation’s most ambitious statewide health financing reforms, S4A researchers at the University of Vermont examine how this model influences:

- cross-sector relationships,

- access to services,

- healthcare utilization and costs, and

- equity in outcomes.

Using quasi-experimental methods, the research team in partnership with the Department of Vermont Health Access, OneCare Vermont, and the Green Mountain Care Board, aimed to provide state and federal leaders with evidence-based strategies for using global budgeting and multi-sector teams to strengthen systems alignment.
