DESCRIPTION:This webinar highlights a Systems for Action study that tested
 how Vermont’s global all-payer payment model\, paired with multi-sector
community health teams\, affects health and social outcomes across the sta
te. As part of the Vermont Blueprint for Health\, one of the nation’s mo
st ambitious statewide health financing reforms\, S4A researchers at the U
niversity of Vermont examine how this model influences:\n\n- cross-sector
relationships\,\n\n- access to services\,\n\n- healthcare utilization and
 costs\, and\n\n- equity in outcomes.\n\nUsing quasi-experimental methods\,
the research team in partnership with the Department of Vermont Health Ac
cess\, OneCare Vermont\, and the Green Mountain Care Board\, aimed to prov
ide state and federal leaders with evidence-based strategies for using glo
bal budgeting and multi-sector teams to strengthen systems alignment.\n\n-
-\n\nThis webinar is hosted by Systems for Action (S4A). S4A is a signatur
e research program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) that is ho
used in the Department of Health Systems\, Management and Policy. S4A rese
arch builds a Culture of Health by rigorously testing new ways of connecti
ng the nation’s fragmented medical\, social\, and public health systems.
